Consistency in photography?

As anyone can see from looking at my blog, I find it hard to stick to photographing one thing. the only element of my work that stays the same is that all my images are made on film. i use colour and black and white, 35mm and medium format film. I photograph people posed in portraits, candid street photographs, landscapes, I photograph the light coming through my bedroom window in the morning. I don't know why?..... I just do,... because it feels like, right. because I'm drawn to these moments that are happening all around me all the time. so when do you say I know what I'm sticking with? Why is there a need to fit into one easily recognizable genre? So other people looking at your work can categorize you? Wolfgang Tillmans doesn't obey these rules. neither does Rinko Kawauchi or Daido Moriyama. so why should I?(not that I'm comparing myself to these artists) Maybe i'll find something that just clicks. Or maybe not? Until then i'll keep photographing everything... after all its only pressing a button. how easy is that?

Something a bit different

All images shot on a Ricoh GR1s point and shoot camera with kodak tri-x 400 pushed two stops. not my usual subject matter.
